LLLAwards2016 are launched!

The Lifelong Learning Platform's Award 2016 for "Building inclusive and democratic educational systems"

When we think of refugees, for example, it becomes immediately clear that inclusive and democratic education requires a certain mastery of the required language. We therefore invite language organisations to submit their initiative to the Lifelong Learning Platform.

The LLLPlatform has launched the Lifelong Learning Awards to celebrate creative and inclusive practices in lifelong learning. The Awards will celebrate 3 initiatives and give visibility to another 10 best practices during its LLLWeek2016 on 10-13 October.

The theme of this first edition is in line with the Platform's Manifesto, "Building inclusive and democratic educational systems". The initiatives rewarded shall enable citizens’ emancipation and full participation in society in its civic, social and economic dimensions.

The Award is not limited to a particular sector. It will cover education and training that takes place:

  • across all ages
  • in all areas of life
  • formal, non-formal and/or informal

Who can apply?

You are a learner, an educator, a civil society organisation, a public authority... involved in lifelong learning in Europe, and pilot a creative and inclusive educational initiative.

When to apply?

Applications should be submitted before 31 August 2016

How to apply?

Read the Applicants' Guidelines and submit online!
