12th Edition  –  Florence, Italy  –  14/15 November 2019

The 12th edition of the International Conference Innovation in Language Learning promotes transnational cooperation and sharing of good practice in the field of language teaching and learning. The event also is an excellent opportunity for the presentation of previous and current language learning projects and initiatives.

The Call for Papers is addressed to teachers, researchers and experts in the field of language learning as well as to coordinators of national and international projects focusing on language teaching and learning.

Experts in the field are therefore invited to submit an abstract of a paper to be presented in the conference.

The Council Recommendation of 15 March 2018 on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships (2018/C 153/01) has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The Recommendation aims at increasing the employability and personal development of apprentices and contributing towards a highly skilled and qualified workforce responsive to labour market needs. Quality apprenticeships also help encourage active citizenship and social inclusion by integrating people of different social backgrounds into the labour market. The framework sets out 14 criteria in relation to working and learning conditions as well as to framework conditions. It provides a common understanding among Member States and it will support their efforts to reform and modernise apprenticeship systems that provide an excellent learning and career pathway.
