Deutscher Volkshochschul-Verband (DVV) is the German association of communal adult education centres. One thousand Volkshochschulen all over Germany offer a great variety of courses dealing with everything from access (computing) to yoga. Of course, almost half of what is on offer comes from the department of languages. All in all, you can learn almost 40 languages at Volkshochschulen in Germany, the most popular ones being German as a Foreign Language, English and Spanish. MIGROS Club Schools

The Migros Club Schools are Switzerland’s largest provider of Adult Education. They run 50 centres throughout the country. Language courses make up about 40% of the total programme.
