Researchers at Munster Technological University (MTU) in Ireland together with partners at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi (Romania), University of Skovde (Sweden) and L’Université de Rouen Normandie  (France) have embarked on an innovative international research project entitled: “Achieving Internationalisation at home through best practice in modern foreign language and intercultural communication lecturers’ pedagogies”. Funded by the Ingenium Alliance (https://ingenium-university.eu/) the project aims to enable a cross-collaborative sharing of expertise as well the initiation of research proposals to enhance students’ language proficiency as a means of implementing “internationalisation at home”. Another important focus of this research group is looking at best practice in relation to internationalisation at home, i.e. provision of language/intercultural courses and the recognition of internationalisation at home by staff and students.
